If the plane starts rolling more or less on axis before the pitch/yaw, then you get a zero...
I've attended several IMAC compitions paying special attention to the snaps, and I'm convinced that the bigger planes either don't, or can't, truely snap with a stall. A snap is violent and loses a lot of energy, the bigger planes are doing a nice little "flip around" and hardly slow down. Am I wrong? My Slick SNAPS. I had to work hard to emulate an IMAC style "snap".

Tricks

BoneDoc, I have watched your vid on harrier flight And in my opinion zyou are doing a fantastic job showing how things are done.
You do it alot better then others.Other say how they do it, or you just see the stickments of what they are doing.
The reason that i like yours you explain what you are doing and why you re doing it as you are doing it.That is the best way to show how something is done.
For example.I have been trying top figure out how to do the harrier and all i get to see or read is someone moveing the sticks or say basics how it is done. Not like you.
Please!!!!!!!! KEEP UP ON THE VIDEOS.You are going a fantastic job.
P.S iam going to be saving the videos on my thumb drive for more training

If your plane is slowing down then you are using too much elevator. You only need enough to get the pitch/stall and then the auto rotation. any more and it makes it very difficult to continue on to the next maneuver.

Even the full scale pilots are using no more control than necessary to do the snap and keep heading.

Nothing inn the rolls about a need to slow down or loose energy.

I'm not sure. When I try to open a file I get a blank window. My VLC player pops up, but can't find any media. I've tried saving the files but without any luck.
