Does he hold steady throttle while doing that or just how does he treat throttle?

it seems pretty even at mid throttle to me... if he's pulsing after each snap to get the energy back that would be it, the airplane seems to be doing it in a pretty lazy fashion, my guess is he's holding mid throttle the whole time.

The key is pulsing to be able to get the control surface more oomph.

BD...there's a vid posted of you at TEFF, what is that maneuver you do where you do a half loop into a KE spin where your wings are horizontal....that looks awesome.

At 09:21. That was a half loop into a tumble followed by a (shallow) KE Spin. By shallow, I mean a bit more right aileron.

Bone, I swear watching you fly on Saturday.... It seemed like you were constantly trying to hit the ground with the most spectacular carnage ever and then chickened out at the last possible minute.

Best "angry" flying yet

It was pretty cool looking. I need to figure it out. I stopped doing tumbles since I got my 89"....need to start throwing those back in the mix
