It's funny that the 2.4 ghz version is only a couple of dollars more to the distributors, yet they charge $20 or more for it.

Yeah, Xheli is the only place i`ve found so far that says they have them in stock. I know they move alot of product, but they must have one heck of a deal and alot of pull with Esky!

well, I ordered one from Xheli. Tracking says I should have it next Wednesday.

They don't list parts for it yet. Strange thing tho, their website has apparently 2 product #'s for it. So even tho it appears on their home page, I went to the section that they have for 2.4ghz and ordered it from that page.

Esky home webpage states the product # to be: EK1H-E020. Xheli home page has it as E020LA. The page that I ordered from and my confirmation state the prod # to be EC130. All pictures tho show E020 on the fuselage. Confusion reigning supreme.

I hope that I get the right product. It has to be a 2.4ghz or I will be sending it back.

Will post next week on how it flies. Now all I gotta do is locate a source for parts for it.

I'm Stupid! Had to say that before anyone else did! I accidentially ordered the damn "Hunter". I'll be sending it back. Twenty dollars out of pocket for that mistake. Fact is, Xheli does have the Big Lama but I beleive it IS NOT the 2.4ghz version. You can tell by the transmitter and receiver model #.

Apparently, according the Esky's website what I want is the EK1H-E515. I wish everyone would stop changking the model numbers.

So, has anyone here actually flown it? I can't wait to hear how "outdoors" it really is...

Yeah, this has been finally addressed here, and it wasn't too exceptional either. It's just as "outdoors" as any coaxial, although a modded "Xtreme" version would be wicked.
