Maritime Heritage Festival

The Portland Maritime Heritage festival will be held at the
Downton Marina this Saturday and Sunday, July 26th and 27th.
The marina is just South of the Hawthorne bridge, and the
main ramp is behind the Alexis Hotel.

Plenty of Mahogany and antique boats... see last years images.

Let me know if you want more pictures of any particular boat.
Well see what turns up. I will try to get video of the PT as it
leaves this year. Then you can hear this thing fire up and saunter away.

That's Ok. It's been said enough that it's still echoing down the hall at RC Groups HQ...

TOESUP- The fin you took the picture of is to add in turning the boat at speed. The same as is used on cracker boxes so they can more or less pivot on the fin and the rudder swings the back around the pivot.
