Pics are in this thread, its got a polyhedral wing on it. I also try and sand the rudder to have an airfoil so at higher speeds it pulls harder to help compensate for the launch offset. Using light fiberglass in choice areas will really help strength and durability, my wing joints and pod are glassed as well as the area around the peg.

your plane looks good, seems to have a decent glide. in that last video, did you have a launch peg to throw it with, or just tossing from the tip?

well, my 30 inch or 76cm glider weighs about 38 grams, and the 600mm span version was 24-28 grams both glide and thermal well. finding light weight wood for the wings is one of the biggest parts of getting a light weight glider. after that would be the tail surfaces and the boom.

Thakns Derk, yes I know about the light balsa wood, my win weught only 9 gr. I beleave that is a very nice weight right? ( 55 cm ) maybe my cockpit is to big? it weights like 3 o 4 gr. anyway seems to be imposible to build it 10 gr lighter....
Any way its fly very nice and I happy with it !

Thanks !

Nice work, whats the wingspan/weight? Size of balsa?

My micro servos have been sitting on the work bench just mocking me...I've done everything but build or fly for what seems like months. Dang life keeps getting in the way of my fun!!
