Ya know, keeping a beauty like that close to you is just romantic as anything! And we are talking Valentine's day in a bit. Xplorer is a good girl...doesn't complain, does as you tell her to do, and comes on back to you. Sure gonna miss having a girlfriend around... and the dog.

My D-box Xplorer weighs 71.5 oz. RTF. Are you saying yours weighs 58.6? Is this before the radio installation?

All the weights in the detailed breakdowns are pre build weights. Your 71.5 sounds right in line with a good build on a D-box Xplorer.

screwed on in the wing and on the fuse...?
ALignment was perfection with the stock holes?
Regarding the fairing covers I used they were left over from a couple of mc3 Opus flap top flap exit covers.... on myi red carbon Explorer they are a nice contrast in white viola!

Db9 in time...all will be fine.

Hey, Alan-

Do you have the Radio Shack P/N for the DB9 connector set that you used and fits well??

Thanks, Target

Target, I had the same issue with my XPro that I just finished up. The harness I bought had the crimped connectors and was WAY too long to fit in the wing. I cut the plug off and went with the Radio Shack plug. The part numbers are:

Female DB9: 276-1538
Male DB9: 276-1537

Pics of the difference are in my blog thread.
