New bird

New Blue Bird from Blue Plaid Squadron Slovakia:
It is BOLERO-XL, wingspann 2980 mm, weight 1100-1200 (depending of the accus). Profile AG24, motor S-NEU 1110 (geared).
Model was developed for competitions in FXJ category and for 200W/kg class.
In right side is my old SALSA model (V-Tails Div.), Bolero XL (No V Tail Div.) is in left.

Good, fast or cheap, pick two

Those are both beautiful sailplanes you have there! Nice size too! My largest is a 2 meter, and I'm thinking that someday I may need to go to 3 meters.

Cheers, and happy flying,

Very great-looking birds there. We don't have the wide-open spaces available nearby here, and landing in the desert would do a lot of damage, so we go to a nearby city park and fly smaller planes (2M). We wish there was opportunity for competition, but only the hand-launch glider crowd can do that here in the city.

How are the FXJ competitions run, i.e. limited motor run, etc?
