Software versions ???

In the software download page, since updated software appears periodically, I feel that there should be some kind of obvious software versioning. An easy and reliable way would be to use their filenames like xdp_setup_3_15.exe instead of keeping xdp_setup.exe the same, regardless its version.

We don't go backwards, so the filename is not changed.

No offense but it does make sense to have a version number on the file so that people can easily tell if they have the newest version or not.

We have added history and multiple updater versions, including the latest beta version to the XDP webpage:

New version of XDP program that unlocks all of the channels for failsafe programming (required for the latest receiver firmware that supports 12 channel simultaneous outputs). Also, adds support for beta testers using the Pico and Nano receivers.

New Scanner program has been released. This version saves the output as the normal .xtd format as well as a .csv format that can be loaded into any database/spreadsheet software.

Just use the auto-update feature to get the latest version.

Hi Jim,

I have just downloaded the new version of software Scanner 1.7.0. I can't seem to locate how to save the telemetry data into the new csv format? What am I not doing?

Thanks!

There are two files saved now. One in the .xtd format and the other in the .csv format. So, if you save the file "test", you will get test.xtd and test.csv.

Okay. Let me create a newly captured file. I was trying to resave an existing captured file into csv format. If I understand correctly, the file is automatically saved into the csv format when it is saved during the capture process. The file does not have to (and cannot) be retrieved and 'resaved' as a csv.

Just load the existing file and resave it. The new save will re-write the original data as well as save it in the new .csv forrmat.
