There is no bind plug on mine.
You only have to plug the plane in first and then turn on the tx to get them to bind.

After running thru the battery twice, that velcro's got to go. (the velcro that holds the battery in its holder)

It falls off at the slightest bump!

Here are my mods so far. I removed the battery tray, velcro and stickers from the battery and removed the prop spinner. It now weighs 14 grams and I can tell the difference. I used metanol to remove some of the graphics. It wipes off very easy and leaves the covering clear as glass. I use tape to hold the battery. I fold it to make taps for easy removal. It holds better than the velcro and I replace it about every 10 battery changes. I am going to use UV ink to cover the clear parts of the covering and then use an onboard LED black light to make the vapor glow at night. The ink will not show up with out a black light. I am going to work on making it lighter too, by getting a carbon fiber prop and using a smaller battery from a piccoz. I would like to make the LG removeable so I can use it or not. (again to save weight ) It looks like I will have to break it off though.

haven't tried it.

I added two UV LEDs just now. Waiting for dark to see just how well they work. In the garage w/some light, they work OK but I don't think the flourescent Sharpies I used are doing a good job glowing. Any ideas on something that will glow well under UV?

Filmed a night flight but the hatcam's batteries died! Took a still of the UV LEDs. They're not as bright as in the photo. Think part of the problem is the beam comes out the dome of the bulb. Will grind it to make it more diffuse and try again.

I have been looking for magic markers or something that wasn't heavy. Paint would be too heavy. I found some invisible ink, like they use to stamp your hand at a concert. That might be good. I don't know. You are ahead of me. I haven't got the UV LED yet.

Here's a very jerky nite shot. If I can't get more of the wing lit, I'll add another to the tail to help w/orientation.

If I can get a spare brick from the local hobby store this weekend I'll be probing it for a sign of the missing channel. I will report back with my findings.

Has anyone replaced the motor with a slightly more powerful one? Can the ESC handle the current draw or is it just a bad idea? I am very new to micro planes and planes in general, so excuse the very possibly stupid question

HI eander,

It is not a stupid question but I am not sure why you would want to.
The Vapor will hover with the motor it has and it looks like the set up is pretty near optimal for that airframe.
