Hey guys, am working on the decals now for the Aussie camo mirage, gonna have to order 300 sets from the looks of it to make them affordable.

Who would be interested in buying decals?? They will be based on the version below, mirror image tail decals and roundels, as well as various small markings around the fuse etc. Decal sets will be around 5-6 bucks.

I'd get a set, I think the yellow tail will help in seeing the plane better. How much for post to 2445 ?

Gonna be a few months yet! But I would cut them up and pack in A4 with cardboard backing, likely 3-5 bucks to ship them properly.

Cutting the rudder out is the easy part, putting in another servo and running the cable back to the nose is the hard bit.

graham, yes i followed that thread. rubbish....

leebee, it shouldn't be that difficult i hope lol..

i added a servo to my sapac euro easily with no prior building experience.

question: ca hinges will work for foam???

Ca hinges work on foam but don't use CA it will eat the foam. Use a very thin smear of gorilla glue and they will never come out.

do i add the glue to hinges and insert to control surface let dry THEN add glue to exposed hinges and slide them into V-stab?

or

the traditional way? (i ask because gorilla glue seems thicker than ca and wont seep like ca does)

Add a small amount (and when I say small - I mean a VERY thin coat) on the hinge, just enough to dampen it.

Slip them into the control surface. Immediately wipe off any excess with a damp cloth. Wait a couple of hours (more if you can) until it dries.

Repeat the above on the wing/vstab. Wipe off any excess immediatey. Once dry, give them a firm pull to check for security. If you glued them correctly, the hinge will be stronger than the surrounding foam and they will never come out.

Exercise the control surface fully to loosen up the hinge point.

actually i found this but wouldn't be available till after october 25th which is fine. im preordering.

my question is, does it come balanced? ill contact them.
