Once you lengthen the tail and put larger blades on it's not really a 450 any more and will fly and respond much different.

The Gaui X3, Align 450L, and the ALRZ480 are all 480 birds. Unless you want to add the Logo 400 that is a 500 size heli.

It is still a 450. The X3, Warp 360, Align 450, etc are all technically 450 class helis, or even more technically 300 class helis, using 300-399mm blades. In that case, the Blade 300X is a 250.

Hence, any heli that uses 300-399mm blades is considered a '450'

Hey BladeScraper, How it going man.

Now, just a bit about how to class a heli
Take a yardstick, and measure from mainshaft to tailshaft, dosent have to be dead on, because of machining tolerances.

Measure your distance between both the shafts, and Wala, you have your heli size in mm.
450 heli has about a 430mm distance from shaft to shaft, just round up.

The newly accepted rule (most models bigger than 450's) is basically however long the blade is in hundreds of millimeters.

Gaui X5: 500+mm blades
Gaui X3: 300+ mm blades
Gaui X2: 200+ mm blades
Synergy N7: Around 700mm blades
Compass Warp 360: 300+ (more accurately 360) mm blades
Gaui X4 / X4 II: 400+ mm blades
KDS Agile 5.5: 500+ mm blades
KDS Agile 7.2: Around 700mm blades
Goblin 630: Around 630mm blades
MDHelis MD6: 600+ mm blades
MDHelis MD7: 700+ mm blades
MDHelis MD8: 800+ mm blades
etc.

Basically, Align just doesn't care 500 class and smaller

Can ya measure the distance between the shafts for me and post, I would be interested,
We sell custom canopys over here, and there sized to fit with the shaft distance method.

Thanks

When I buy a kit/ bnf etc and box says 450 thats good enough for me. When I got my Blade 500 D I was shacked at how much bigger it is compared to 450 D.
Mine is unflown at this time and batteries will not be cheap. Going to be some pucker power when time arrives to fly it. Atta be cool. At least for me .

The 360 CF-X is out now. Looks like its good to go. I just have maxed out for awhile and chill on anything new. No problem far from short on helis to fly.

Seems helis have slipped down on posts even more. Or nobody cares to post as not much news. Racing Quads/ FPV/ GPS really took over interest in quads/ Multi-rotors. I flew my friends big quad. 6 cells. I was little concerned about having that much power flying so close but it was fine. Then flew it around. nice but not for me.
I only know one other guy flying helis in town. He is busy and hard to get hold of. I now have been flying some planks also. Nice to fly with others.

I was told Align started the 450 size calling because motor was 450 Watts. Guess the title stuck even fact many are 325 mm blades/335/350/360/380 biggest.

Dynam eRazor 450 - Controller RESET

Can anyone tell me how to restore factory settings on the controller that comes with Dynam eRazor 450 Helicopter?

I've looked and looked and cannot find anything.

rotor spins up full speed with no change in pitch on main rotors, will not lift off, spins wild when switched to 3d mode
