Cool

Getting back into heli's after 3 years.

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello.
It's been quite a while since I've flown a heli...more than 3 years.

I'm going to resurrect the old ESky/Blade CP
Some of you might remember a little build thread the I started long ago...My ESky CP Thread.
It will be all brushless, running a Himaxx 2015-4200 on the main and a DD cdrom on the tail powered by a pair of Castle Pheonix 10's.

I'm glad to back after so long!
I hope that I can still fly a chopper!

ESky CP. Mechanics and electronics are identical. The canopies may look a bit different, but that is all.

Well, not to pick the nit, but a Blade CP does not have a bell/hiller head unless an upgrade is installed. In addition, on a Blade CP the main gear and shaft are one unit, whereas on an Esky the main gear and shaft are two seperate parts. I have a CP2 and I've seen a Blade CP and I wouldn't say that they are mechanically identical. I also wouldn't refer to my CP2 as a Blade CP...

Like I said, I've been away for a while. We must be talking about different models...or maybe my sight isn't what it used to be.
I'm referring to what was referred to as the Eflite Blade and Esky Honeybee/Twister CP's three years and four months ago

What is the difference?
BTW My ESky's main gear and shaft are one unit...not seperable.
I'm not trying to start a fuss, just pointing out my ignorance in current models.

-Yes, I know, and I wasn't putting down Blade CP's, it just seemed strange that the fellow called his Esky a Blade CP.

-Please know that I wasn't intending to give you a hard time; it just struck me as strange that you called the model in the pic a Blade CP and the thread you posted a link to was posted under a different handle than "Micronut." As hard as it is to believe, we've had some trolls posting here so maybe that was coloring my impression. At anyrate, welcome back to the madness...

No problem...I changed my screen name to "micronut" about the same time that I got out of heli's, but I still use this old one once in a while.

I have a split personality
I guess I should just pick one...I've always preferred micronut.

Thanks for the welcome back!
