wasp V3 gyro connection to graupner R700 receiver
I've bought a wasp V3 from skyartec. It had the skyartec gyro on it.
Thera are two output leads: one for the tail servo(usual 3 wire connector) and one with a yellow cable. On the manual of my R700 receiver shows just one connection for the gyro (the servo connection) so what to doe with the connector with the yellow cable. Is this just to control the gain by you transmiter instead of turnig the gain screw on the gyro itself?
The extra yellow lead is the signal wire for the remote gyro gain. I am not sure what channel to connect it to on your Graupner, I think it would depend on the transmitter. For example with Spectrum equipment, we often select the channel labeled GEAR and use a switch on the transmitter to select between rate and heading hold mode.
