Good E-Hobby shop in San Diego??

I am going on a business trip to San Diego, CA and I would like to know where is a hobby shop in San Diego that caters to electric planes (brushless motors, controllers, micro servos, etc.) I will appreciate if you can provide the name and directions.

Thank you in advance,

There's Dymond(rc-dymond.com), Discount Hobby Warehouse (RC-Direct.com), Hobby People(.net), and I believe Diversity Model Aircraft (flydma.com) is there too.

Also Hitec is within driving distance.

And don't forget to visit Torey Pines glider port, 5fwy exit on Gennessee, left on Torrey Pines Rd, look for signs..

I wish I live in San Diego.

I greatly prefer Dymond and Discount Hobby Warehouse. Dymond is almost exclusively RC aircraft, and they have a lot of great stuff and the people are nice/helpful. Discount Hobby Warehouse has a smaller selection but also great people working there, very helpful. Hobby people is O.K.- they have a lot of stuff, but it's hard to get service at times. I usually go in to all three stores for a look when I decide to go to any one of them, since they are within a few blocks of each other on Convoy street.

Thank you for sharing the information. Sunday will be the day I will have free time, so hopefully they will be open.

Flying Cat:

You might want to get in touch with Steve (Diversity) and make sure he'll be at the field Sunday (although he usually is).
Call him at: Diversity Model Aircraft - (858) 693-8188.
Otherwise, you can catch him at the
SEFSD field. Look for a dark grey primered van.
