500AR vs. 600AE ?
Hello all
(I know, there where a few posts about this, but I think the answer wasn't so clear) Is it possible to use Sanyo 600AE cells for Speed400 pylon racers (also ABOVE 12A)? Are they a possible replacement for 500AR (new formula). The int. resistance is almoust equal and the discharging curves from Sanyo look quite good; or am I wrong? Thanks Felix |

Forget about 600AE and 500AR. The new KAN 950 mahr nimh cells are much better.
They have much higher capacity and have the same high output voltage as the old 500AR red cells. They are available from http://www.flydma.com Chuck |

ok...very nice...
But I come from Switzerland and and I can't found this batterie on any swiss or european web site. But in a local store, they had 600AE's. So, before I buy them I wanted to know if they are good enough for higher currents. Thanks Felix |

600AE vs 500AR
In our experience, the 600AE work just as well as the 500ARs for the high amp applications. You are correct in that the difference in IR is nominal between these two cells.
Hope this helps. -Austin www.cheapbatterypacks.com |

Felix Althaus,
You do not have to live in the USA to buy from http://www.flydma.com. He ships out of the country all of the time. He makes very good quality battery packs. Chuck |
