I practically grew up in Crestline. Used to go out on Lake Gregory as a kid and catch trout.

Man, does that look like fun! I'm not too far from you, either.

Out here on Long Island, NY we have a great stream for Trout about 15 minute drive for me, actually it is a fish hatchery. They stock the stream with Rainbow, Brook and Browns. I have caught some really large Browns and Bows in this creek. Cost ya $15.00 to get in there for a 5 hour session. When you leave your arms are tired. You can catch 90 fish, but as soon as you creel 2 fish your out of there. During regular Trout season, 2 fish may be kept. Off season, no kill. It is strictly Flyrod purist fishing, Flyrods, no barbs on the hook. No lead or live bait, artificials only. There are monster Browns and Bows to 10-12 lbs. And the Brookies run about 3-4 lbs.

I have fished the Beaverkill and Wemotec streams upstate for 40 years. You will stay busy tying flies to match the hatch as well. Great fishing. Beautiful environment as well.
