Most flights go well....but the crashes are more entertaining to hear about.

I found it entertaining and refreshing to know that others have the same floting issues with theirs too. It is almost like you had to talk it into coming down, right? Down boy, down.

On a side note, I am in the process of putting floats on mine for winter flying. I bought the Super Club Floats. Not suprising, it is not plug and play. The Floats only come with one mount (on the the plane, not the floats) On the super cub, they use the battery bay to mount the front, and a push in, glue in mount for the rear. I will post pics when I am done. I may have to switch the front and rear mounts and legs since on the test fit, the sat up pretty high in the rear since the super cub slopes up, therefore the rear legs are taller.

Has anyone else mounted the Super Cub floats on the Trojan?

I havent seen snow like that in a long time. I have lived in Texas for three years and before that Florida for 14. Texas weather is crazy. We can have 30 degrees one day and have 70 the next. But rarely get any snow at all.

I was born in Chicago. Well a suburb called Elmhurst. But we moved south when I was about 12. I dont know how you people do it! Id probably be out flying with a ski mask, gloves, and skis on the plane.

I have been very satisfied with the flaps on my T-28. I also can land nicely without them. It is a matter of "energy management" as the space shuttle says. Just make your approach at the proper speed.

Going from memory;

select file menu

halfway down select import KEX

find file with browse feature and select

if file is compatible and correct you will see a green confirmation message at the bottom.

Hope that helps, if you need anything else in realflight check out this site, it where the T-28s are posted (swap pages)http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/
