I personally used PICA GLU-IT White glue but, I had to clean and clean off the STOCK rubber-like "White" glue from Factory and this way there's no chance of having an unintended chemical reaction and plus the Main LG would adhear to the wing assembly much better without any residue from the STOCK glue. |

In any case, good luck with that, we all know how annoying it is to be grounded! EDIT- Quote:
Now, if I misunderstood I am sorry, but reinforcing BEHIND the firewall with hot glue and popsicle sticks is a solid idea and kept my first T-28 in-flight even after a few brutal high-speed frontal collisions with the ground hehe. @my2cents, hope to get that mount set up today so I can test the 35-36C. I am curious to see the difference side by side with the SK 35-42. And thanks for all your kind comments on my YT vids |

This advice would only make sense for airplanes produced before a year ago or so. MANY months ago (maybe 10?) we switched to a contact-like cement for gluing the LG mounts in all the T-28s and Corsairs that's MUCH stronger than the silicone stuff. David |

Dave Eichstedt,
I have been surprised this year by all the planes you have come out with this year! And yes I did break down and get a P-51 anyway, just need to add rudder and landing gear! I also would like to say I love the T-28 and have recommended it to a lot of people! Are you planning on keeping the T-28 around for a while! And could you please hurry with a z-foam Spitfire! |

35-36C is just better...the numbers don't lie.
It is conclusive, the 35-36C is 23.5% more powerful than the SK 35-42.
I just tested the 35-36C with the Wattmeter, same set up as the 35-42 and the results were impressive: SK 35-42 11x7TGS Sport Prop 20C 3S battery 411W ( 35-36C Gold 11x7TGS Sport Prop (same exact one) 20C 3S battery (Same exact one) = 507.5W!!!! I won't be putting the 35-42SK back on. It is now relegated to back up duty. I can't wait to fly this plane with the 35-36C tonight, or early tomorrow!!! I have video proof that I will edit in here as soon as I get it posted on YT. //Mcdyvie EDIT- Here is my latest flying video with the now relegated SK 35-42. Turnigy'd |

robj/ What do you use the 35-30c motors in? BTW,I really like the 35-36c motors also. [/QUOTE] Right now a Mini Pulse XT, with the stock prop PLENTY or power for sport flying. I have another MPXT with a 35-36c... Also a Mini Ultra stick...now with GWS floats. With that wing, again PLENTY of power, vertical, etc. I've only had one motor on that plane for 5-6 months maybe, not a hickup. It even took a dip in a pond recently. I have a 35-36c in a Su-26m 480, tried to maiden today but the ar6100 would NOT range test. The plane cam out lighter than I thought so I may try a 35-30c in that one. We'll see, I may try to ease into some 3d stuff. Rob |

Ty response
Hey Ty, I have two Turnigy motors SK3530-1100 & the gold C3530-1100 and I believe I over proped both of them. I burned up one of the windings in each one and then they acted like what you described. Shakeing but not turning. after they cooked. My bet is the windings are bad.
Good luck with the return program. Later, Ed |
