I assumed 5 min. epoxy and just pop it back in, but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't tear a portion of the wing out if I happen to land in a rough patch later on down the road. Thanks in advance.
I think GOOP works the best. Mine is RV Goop.

strut covers

Well since it's so windy I was able to finish my strut covers today;

Edit for the link at the start of the T-28 Part II thread - These strut covers are Robart #106 mini strut covers. About $10.99 at my LHS. I cut about 1/4 inch off the rear covers to fit and a little more than that off the front cover.

If anyone has any questions feel free to PM me. It was simple, just do it!!!

New owner here. Got PnP version and plan on runing it stock. I didn't see anything under servos. I have a PZ - Stryker that I hated the servos in and replaced asap how do the T-28's stock servos work/hold up?

Welcome to the club. Look at "glitches", that probably covers the servo issues. If you're going to be using the stock radio setup it's highly recommended to at least upgrade to a castle creation berg receiver.

A Park BEC is recommended for helping to not overload/burn up the ESC. There is a link on the first post for that as well.

Thanks will do that. Runing dx6i with ar6100 for receiver/radio. I'm ordering two hs55 servos + park bec so I can add some flaps... Definately looking forward to seeing how this thing handles though. Need something slower have the stryker for fast so looking forward to something a little slower.

From posts I read just felt it wasn't necessary. I'm not looking for perfect up close, just a different look (especially while flying). You can see "flaws" in the pics but how often will I be looking that close at the plane? Not much.

Thrust angle correct?

Well, I did it...finally got a T-28. Is the thrust angle supposed to look like this? Should the motor mounting surface be parallel with the front of the fuselage? I hope so on both counts...

That's the way it should be. Offset counters the motors torque while spinning.

It's supposed to be that way. Down and to the right.

Need some info, btw is there a main thread somewhere I should be asking noob questions in? I didn't see part 1 and don't want to be cloggin up the summary thread..Anyway my problem

Have the PnP version and putting receiver in... I have a servo plug coming from the nose and I can see the servo with rod to rear and front for gear and rudder... What is this servo under the motor and do I need to y harness that to what looks like the rudder servo and plug into rud channel? Using ar6100 w/dx6i for radio... Manual keeps refering to included y harness but I've yet to see these anywhere...good thing I have a few laying around but not sure how to configure these... I know the ailerons need the Y but not sure on this rudder config.. Thank You.
