Nicely designed models but poor marketing strategy, don't need a battery or battery charger every time I buy a new model. I also like to choose my own motor and speed controller so it looks like I'll wait and wait and wait for the GWS version.

Yeah, in a thread someone started about the EDO one, I basically drew the same conclusion about the F-4.

Their F-15 is interesting for someone that wants an ARF with just all the stock stuff. For $190 for a PlugNPlay F-15... and Free Shipping... it might be alright.

Finally found the F-4 on the MFG website... What happened to the nose? An F-4
with a perky nose? Not. Part of the mean look of a Phantom is the nose droop.
This one does not have that mean "I am going to mess up your whole day" look.
Put a shark mouth on it and it will look like it is smiling! The Happy Phantom? I
think I will either wait for a correct one (GWS?) or scratch build one.

Just need to wait now, some interest, but Mr Lin has not commented for quite a while. Hope he is not thinking that others are doing the F4 so he will not bother

What version of the F-4 are you trying to replicate? The F-4C/D or the gun nosed version F-4E?

I'm hoping for the earlier B model or the H or J models. An A-6A would also be nice.

I like the two nose option that someone commented on earlier in the thread. You could easily do a B/C/D/J/S with one nose (B/C/D would need a little plastic part under the nose for the IR sensor fairing) and E/F/EJ could all be done with another nose.

So are these going to be available as just a fuselage and you add everything or are they going to be RTF only?

Since this is the GWS one, it will (I assume) be available just as the rest of their planes are... Non-Power-System or with motor.

Just back from Shanghai RC model show.

There are many types of F4. But most them are smaller!

But I am not sure how will the others flew?

Mr LIN, your F-4 is 100X better than ANY of the other F-4's out there...PLEASE..PRETTY PLEASE get this one in the box!!!! i can promiss if it looks like it does in your pics, and stays the same size(for a 75mm) youll sell a ton. id probably get like 3!!!

so...when can we expect this "bad boy" to come to the market! please dont make us wait too long!

The best in EDF since 2005

Twin 55's are the way to go, with green motors on the current crop of 2200 4s1p 25c packs available the power system will be around the 500-550w mark with 900 grams thrust on tap. The cost of this size pack has come down so much its a no brainer to design something around the proven 55 & 64 fans.

I think its a mistake to continue with the EDF75, the fan requires a lot of work to get it to run smoothly and the output vs power consumption is very average.

well, id either mod to twin 66's or go with a single 70mm, just mod the duct for the smaller fan. your probably right though twin would be cool too. maybe 2 of those new x-flite alfa copy's in there....
