I too hope that GWS does not fall victim to unfortunate circumstances. I am still holding out hope that they will eventually be able to get at least a U-2 to us. Other planned kits are already available elsewhere, but the U-2 options are nil.

To drive or to fly......BOTH!!

BP hobbies has some of thier kits. But to be honest I am really saddened by the almost total extinction of GWS kits. With the stall of these kits (F-4 & Mig-17) I have located other manufacturers that have made or are making them. I would have preferred to have those airframes be GWS but I wont wait forever.

Hi Jason, Me too! I absolutely love the GWS kits. They make a great basis
for a great plane. I have given up on the U-2, MiG and F-4. I decided to
build the F-4 and U-2 from scratch. This thread may give you a few ideas.
I am just finishing up the F-4... (with an airfoil wing and retracts)...

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&highlight=f+4

65mm fan, 3200KV Heli outrunner, 45A opto esc with uBEC and running
a 2300mah 4S Zippy-R. This is a bifurcated single with a removable
airfoil wing to allow for the GWS HD blue retracts. All finished except
the ailerons and I plan on a maiden this weekend possibly.

Arnold.

Sadly - not - the HobbyCity one is not it. The horizontal stabilizer on the HobbyCity one is wrong - too flat and uses elevators vs a full flying stab.

During SZ model show, that we had shown the live test EDF75 system to visitors.

We had 1.4+Kg thrust with a new proto type out runner BL motor 3250Kv at 18.5V ( DC power supply ) 60+A.

I believe this will help GWS EDF75 JETs become popular!
