well, yesterday was my best heli flight ever!
went down to the riverside park in portland oregon usa was a gorgeous day- after 2 weeks of alot of rain and wind wide open dry grass field-freshly mowed started zipping around my 4g3 in light 2-4 mph gusts of wind this heli is such a kick it surfs the wind like nobodies business! now I know why cp helis are so much fun! my control over it was so sweet! flew about 6-7 packs back to back-motor wasnt even warming much! I am usually a 5 minute per pak flyer- but was having so much fun think I may have doubled my usual flight times-but didnt measure I had left my tx pretty much alone- set as per walkera suggestion think my ext on 4in1 is just slightly above factory-50-60%? flying totally stock, it is sooo much better than the 4#3b its incredible! even if I nver am able to 3d it much- I am loving it wish I had a vid cam- was swooping and diving all over the place always been too up tight flying my other cp helis to apreciate what cp is like 4g3 set my addiction in stone! those dithering about purchasing one -would say go for it! especially once bl- will be increble squared! sorry for another long ramble- but am so psyched on it! mk |

if you get one, loosen mesh, set up tx according to walkera pdf setup site http://www.walkera.com/cn/admin/info...back/4G3en.pdf then take her outside and play with it! really does put the 4#3b to shame but you will have to fly the tail some in punch outs mk |

I am still holding out.....
and now even after a few seconds I still haven't pre ordered.... few more.... doing ok..... This is my situation whenever I read positive comments on the 4G3. I may buy myself one to shut myself up!! It will be easier on the both of me!!! Once I see one I'm sure I'll be done for! The heli issues, which seem few and far between really, are no problem. Any cp that can be flown after any sort of crash gets a tick in my book. Its the Tx that is giving me concern. Love to tweak and get the most out of my helis and this tx and I are going to argue! (there "going"...only a matter of time... even my fingers think I should get one). On another note; Fitted a new motor on my B thanks to Jason and back "on the air". Weekend report:Managed to get into the hall on Sat as my fiancee had brief access. Almost had a brawl with my 100! I was testing to see how well the Telebee would hold the tail in as fast a reverse pass as I could comfortably do. (running pace). As the heli got to about 3 metres to my right on a right to left pass the tail decided to swing and the heli promptly swung counter clockwise. This meant I was casually applying rear cyclic directly towards myself at point blank range with a running start. Ding-ding.....Round 1: Blades vs Eyebrows! Luckily somehow I avoided my head and got it down with some of the most radical cyclic imputs I have done to date. Moral: Heli's are cool. I need faster reaction times!! Oh... and I like small helis! Imagine something larger and this type of situation! Amp ps lucky RCG doesn't have a character limitation function! |

My 4#3B is sadly sitting in the corner waiting for the new motors to arrive. However that said im a little addicted to the lama2 at the moment. It does fly different to the FP however still fun. Amp book the hall for when you can, Ill chip in whatever is outstanding from a $$ perspective. Let me know when we can get in next, however not before this Thursday as I need to bring the new toy along.. Cheers Brett http://www.eastcoasthobbies.com.au |

No pressure with the hour counting (105 hours and 24 minutes to go ) If you want to save a little trouble on posting mine,Iam happy to just pick it up if that option is available. I hear some of the guys are using the Dexterity blades. Is that something you would consider keeping in stock? Will you be receiving spare parts with this order,or with a later order? Why am I asking so many questions? How high will my helicopter fly? Do red helicpters go faster? Sorry I got carried away. Why do I do that? Friday nights are good for me to fly. I need a multi heli case. Actually,I saw an aluminium case like mine, only 3 times the length for $50 at an auto spares place.I think I need to buy one or 2. Regards Jason |

Parts are in the same order which held it up a week. I hear that red heli's go faster however this also means faster when they hit the ground. Ive had a look into the Dexterity blades however want to have a fly of the 4G3 before going ahead with an order for them. Oh and I have also ordered some training gear for the 4#3B which will also fit the 4G3. Not that either Jason or Amp need it.. Cheers Brett http://www.eastcoasthobbies.com.au |
