On the output for videos in Vegas there is the screen after the Make movie button is pushed where the format can be selected. I selected HD and then 720 and then the dimensions and she looks as good as the original video in a side by side.

Not sure if thats what you are trying to figure out though.....

That stinks, any idea what the problem is? I had a problem like this when I had the CG too far back.

I've got my suspiscions, but I'll have to look at it before I know.

I had a strange phenomenon that occured last night.

I turned off stabilizer, and zero'ed the trims. When I turned stabilizer on,

The trims were way out. I zero'ed stabilizer, and got the same result.

So I trimmed to level ailerons.


I don't know what to think about that. It seems to be level, so I can't

attribute the crash to that.




Today's episode had to be related to high stabilizaton gains

on a more efficient wing surface, or


Stall: Maybe 3/4 throttle wasn't enough to get this wing enough lift.

I really don't know, but it sucked. I threw it up, and it rolled over and went in.

it's fixable


concerning the strange phenomenon with the ailerons.

I figured out how to fix it.

I should re-train the osd by running the servo analysis wizzard.

I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.



I'm still debating on whether to keep the 168 wing or go back to the foamy.

if I keep the 168, then i'll have to give it an extremely hard launch, and full throttle...

Mike, I can cut some of those extension pieces out of EPP or other foam to rebuild the front end, but the rounded nose would have to be done by hand somehow. I may even have a piece already cut if you dont mind black EPP.

Mike here is a picture of the extension piece I put in my 1st skywalker. Third pic over on the top shows it best.

I'm going to try and maiden my wing tomorrow afternoon or for sure Saturday.

I've seen your other wing fly, and it performs very well, If you're confident in this new geometry, then I'll be happy to test it for you.
