Reminds me of the kids show Lazy Town. Hero lives in a man powered blimp.

That is one of the most remarkable flying machines I think I've ever seen.

I saw plans for this one by Roy Clough (sp) 25 or more years ago, always wondered how it flies, now I know, thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video. What an interesting flying machine. Is there a thread on this thing? I am wondering how it flies.. is it filled with Helium?.. how does somthing like this generate lift? Got to tip the hat to the guy who built it for doing someting very different!

It flies great or at least appears to. The guy behind the sticks may tell you something different though

It was definitely my choice.

The flyer flies by limited lift surface (the red ridges or little wings as it were)
and by Lift body dynamics as well

no helium....and oh by the way....lotsa power and speed

Hello,

I think this is the forth or fifth time I've posted this today.. but...

I have the plans for this beauty and would like to finally build one. I'm looking for a copy of the build article.

A while back a fellow modeler sent me the article in PDF format, but I've since misplaced it.

Does anyone have an electronic copy of this build article?

Thanks gang!
Ted
