Too bad about parts. I'm looking forward to seeing this project progress.

PS are you going to post some of your plane fleet too?

James - Just curious. Where did you buy your Joker CX? I'm in the queue for one from Fitz at FXaeromodels and wondered if the missing part thing was a rare occurance on the Minicopter or a problem like it has been for LMH and their Corona's?
Thanks for posting your day by day build. I'll be watching and learning.

How much faster without the pics?

Lv2Fly, have you determined how much faster you could be done with the Joker if you didn't have to stop for pics along the way?

Very nice helicopter, I have seen a few videos of it and it is amazing. I am just starting out with my Corona right now and taking pics along the way. I am probably a few years away from a Joker...

Perhaps a Venture next?

Nice website, I'll keep tabs on your progress. I really like it when people go to all the trouble to post all the little details about something, the information is absolutely invaluable when others are researching the same subject. It takes a lot of guess work out of the process.

There is an article on that helicopter and it's designer in Dec or Jan Rotor magazine. It looks to be a super refined "BMW/Mecedes" type of machine.
When you get finished please report back on how it flies.

Looks great,

some spec's and other info

Hi All ,

My setup

Servos. Futaba 9252 (Swash)
S9253 Tail Rotor
Gyro futaba Gy502 (wasn't nessary) 401 would have been fine.
But I liked the (LCD screen....)
actro 25-5
Actro 70-32h
V3 governer module
HV UBEC (KoolFlight Systems)
Rx Futaba PCM R1490P

My TX 9C

30x2400 matched Sanyo cells
60x2600 Nimh Sanyo cells.

System has been checked Radio is programmed.

All I need to do is tiedy up all the wires (Got to get the Wire spiral
cable wrap) and make sure I have good pitch range through out
my range.

Main Blades (Joker Carbon Fiber Blades)700mm (While)
And Stock 107mm standard stock rotor blades (White)

I was asked how long it took...Well i keep a daily time log! Yup...I did.... 40 + hrs...at a very leasurly pace....And i mean very relaxed...I could have done it in two days 3days tops...But
I was missing things..And that was a bummer, and I started working on yet another Corona for someone else...

aaaaaaa, never enough time for all the goody projects....

And thanks to all those who stop buy drop comments and ask questions...

Regard's to all.
