Definitely - I'm trying to get a .46 stock class going amongst the guys out at the club. We fly ARF's and scratchbuilt planes and gliders mostly, with some electrics but mostly nitros for the fun of it. Most guys have a slick aerobatic kinda plane with a .46 of some description in it so the .46 class is gaining ground as a good idea.

I crashed my 5ft Stick the other day so am now on the building path for a .46 hotrod... small, slick and fast; the hell with wingloading and ground handling! Should be some fun for sure

On the glider front, I'm still repairing my HobbyKing 'Canary' glider. Not a big job just haven't gotten around to it. Gotta get more glider flights in!

Cheers - boingk

Haven't been doing much brewing lately, but my grandma lives up in San Jose and I don't see her nearly enough. Maybe 2 birds with one stone kind of thing! Conversely, you should bring that new *cough* mouldie down this way and fly with us too! "slot"?

Just took a look at Mama Eagle and she is covered in about one inch of snow, boy that is tough duty setting there freezing day after day keeping the eggs warm.

Jeff google ' Eagles at Decorah ' and that should bring the site up.

Of course if she's covered in an inch of snow, her feathers are doing an excellent job of insulating her. If they weren't, the snow would melt from her escaping body heat. So, under all that protection, she's probably reasonably comfortable.

However, I still doubt that any of us would care to have that job! Especially since it will almost certainly get much more difficult once those eggs hatch!

Why is this man smiling?

One look and you'll now why John Diniz was smiling at the SWC - his beautiful Paragon was an absolute joy to fly.

It is just hard to beat Ed's fine design, for a plain old woody that does everything right !!!

Great colors too.
