Back at you Ray. Thanks for all the great stuff you do! This hobby, and this thread, wouldn't be what it is without you and Sky Bench. Keep up the great work. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Ray,

Thanks so much for providing such wondefull kits. I'm truly enjoying my Oly III build. And there will be another order soon for another kit. As soon as I make up my mind which one.

Mery Chrystmas and Happy new Year to you.

Eddie

I was just looking back on some old threads (March '09) and ran across Jeff's "Windfree with Mods" thread...smashed by an airborne awning before maiden. I really hated that for you Jeff . Anyhow, I really like the looks of the very NOS plane and want one of Ray's XL's when it hits. Question is, how well does it roll with the straight wings set up as RES?

Had to cancel my 2M Chrysalis order

Not the best thing to happen this Xmas but neccessary due to unforseen expenses. Other than that the Xmas leadup is going well with all shopping taken care of and the builds going along well. My scratchbuild flying wing glider is now being fast-tracked so I can fly it soonish.

Heres to everyone in the thread so far - Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year!

Cheers - boingk

'Tis a shame, we're finally getting kits moving again after the disruptions from that "special project". Hopefully you will be able to try again soon once your situation settles down.

Speaking of that special project, I found out that all that FPV stuff and the Eagle Tree telemetry does indeed require a Ham license to operate legally. I logged onto http://www.hamradiolicenseexam.com/try-it.htm Monday night, and studied hard Monday night and all day Tuesday. Tonight I drove 80 miles each way to Anderson, IN to spend $15 and half an hour in their police station taking the Technician Class test. The guy dropped the grading template over my test sheet and said "Well, you're no fun!" Yup, I got a 100%. As soon as the FCC gets me officially added to their list, I will be a licensed Ham.

I've been called worse...

Merry Christmas to you too buddy! It's hard to imagine your trip, Stevers. It takes one hell of a mind set and to accomplish a goal like this and you've done it, hat's off to you. I'll bet your legs are the size of tree trunks after this . You should come to Dallas and play ball with the Cowboys as a running back . Turkey Spam....yummy, I'm a major Spam fan, like it fried up to have with my eggs in the morning. Rock on, Steve, you rule....

Another year, nearly, of good comraderie here on the WOODIE channel.....with some occasional BS from our friends.

Again, Steve, thanks for starting the thread! I would think that you might ask Santa for a new butt since yours is probably like iron now after riding your "Roundabout."

Ray....add my thanks for your outstanding products. They brought joy back in
to an old man's dreams!

To our Military People.....THANK YOU!

All of you have an enjoyable Christmas

Can you believe it, Mr. G, another year has past by so quickly. What would it be like if we didn't have wooden sailplanes to jack around with ? What could possibly be more interesting and relaxing and bring so much gratification. I've had a lot of hobbies in the past, building type hobbies, that kept me pacified, but nothing ever like this. It's a blessing in disguise .
