Yes, I did yell; "Pigs In Spaace" Upon launch!!! Whalaire barely moved forward in the strong wind, used alot of down elevator. I also noticed the elevators looked droopy is there anyway to fix that???? Thanks for your comments

Oh that? It's a highly technical detail and way too complicated to explain.......

Almost all of the ones around here show that a little. Like my FB says "Just fly the darn thing!!!!!!!!!!!"

Yeah Ray, my boss has quite a few trophies at his house that were taken using a Pig in Space.

Droopy elevators? That's bad! No way to fix and it's probably best to give it some unsuspecting, young rookie that won't notice such problems. I know just the guy. Send it to me and I'll make sure he gets it!

Back already Sean? Didn't spend too much time taking in the scenery, did you?

Jack,

To get back to being serious (often hard for me to do ), when you say droopy are you referring to the elevators appearing to be angled down and not parallel to the ground, or do you have slop in the stab joiner rods?

Hoss, yeah, I flew home(figuratively) last evening.

Hey Jack, it's a beautiful plane no doubt. I can see in the photos what you're talking about....just a little warped. If I were you, I'd just take a gun after it and try to true the stab by reshrinking. If that doesn't work, strip the film and iron the hell out it with a clothes iron (no steam) then recover. If it bothers you and doen't feel right, fix it. If it doesn't bother you and feels ok, f it .

Hey jacktrotter, that SailPig looks almost exactly like mine. I have a white rudder and a black canopy. Built mine in 1987, have another Dreamcatcher kit to build.

Hmm, I should have known Steve had 'been around' lol!
He's doing ok, but has seen better days with his health, still flies though come hell or high water! Done ok in pylon last year, and can still swear and curse with the best of us.

The riding is going ok, but I've git a crook achilles tendon, so I'm stuck in the small cattle town of Biggendon for a few days until I can see a doctor, bummer. Its a typical little old quiet country town with two grand old hotels and wide streets, but has no RC club worst luck otherwise I'd be bumming a fly off of someone, as you would.

Cheers gents.

Hate to hear of your pains Mr. Mac. Is there a sweet little goth nurse in Biggendon that might apply a bit of theraputic healing?
