You sure those aren't something like the 7950TH or some other hv servos?

It might work, but for how long ... before the servos burned up under high load. Just curious.

DX 7 Programming

Just came over to the AJ Slick world from the Align TREX heli side of things and I am having bad times trying to program the ailerons on my DX7 and JR 921 receiver. Heck after reading the manual i'm so lost i'm not even sure which port to plug the ailerons in....I figure one goes in the AILE slot but not sure where the other one go. Transmitter settings/programming that work would be real helpful at this stage of the build.

Thanks in advance

If the reciever has an AUX port plug it into that and you have to do flap mixing. There is a video how to do and I believe Horizon Hobby has a check sheet on how to do it but I cant seem to find it.

You can also just use a Y harness on the ailerons as well.

As often, I try not to go with the y harness way. Had to do this on my old Futaba 6EX.
Using AUX port as mentioned above gives me the ability to adjust subtrim on the ailerons.

Found the horizon write up sheets.

I used this on my planes and it works fine.

Set the wing settings to flapperons. Plug right aileron into the aileron slot and the left in ax 1. You may have to reverse one or both to get the throw direction right. I go into the flap settings and set the flaps to zero as the default is 100%....would not be good if you accidentally hit the flap switch.
