Finally got my 51" together and trimmed... I just need the weather to work in my favor so I can take it for the maiden flight. Plenty of 3s and 4s batteries charged and waiting for the right time...

The PL8 is worth it

I have the 206b and I love it. Will probably get the 308b down the road when I get bigger planes with bigger batteries, but for now the 206b gets the job done nicely. Oh and i also have a cellpro 10s that's pretty nice but icharger's ftw.

I have the Hitec multi charger X4 and love it. you can charge up to four 6-cell batteries at once. You might want to take a look at it, hobbypartz has a version of it that is the same thing but for less money.

In all honesty... The slicks are such a good flying plane it should be about tuned it good by then!

RIP 51 slick Put it in hard this morning and need a new motor box. I won this plane at the last garage sale right before the 3dhs move and I think its a v1. I know some people have asked this already but do the new slick motor boxes fit this bird?

I ordered one just before 3DHS moved. They sent me one that had the new carbon fiber landing gear mount and it worked perfect. It didn't say it was version II but it had the same look as my new 59 slick. My guess is it was a version II box.

I spoke to fliprob on the phone today and he thinks it will fit. I figure even if it takes some minor tweaking I'm ok with that vs. buying a new fuse.

Motor box ordered... whenever they come back in stock I'll be first in line

My 51" still hasn't even shipped yet. So, I'm maidening an older model tomorrow - 1/3 scale Pitts. Fingers crossed!!!
