Cool. Do you have all the equipment? If so, you should have it in the air by this weekend.

Well the Glo-slick took flight Sunday afternoon. It looks to be a great combo with the 72. Had it one the deck in about three mins was how well it flew. Did have to add a little weight to the tail but didn't get a chance to see the difference as the saito decided not to run. Have to take the carb apart as it is acting like there is something in the spray bar. (You guys can flame on about glow now )
Sorry no pics or vid yet. Hope to get some at the 3DHS Throw Down this weekend in Pittsburgh.
Jerry can testify how well it flew on the maiden.

birdie, bet the Slick becomes one of your favorites. It is a quick, easy build. You will be flying in no time. Battery on mine goes pretty far forward. If yours turns out the same, make sure to have hold down straps and Velcro forward too. Carry a touch of power all the way to landing. It lands similar to a Yak or Sukhoi. Touch of power = nice and smooth every time. Mine has flown with 1 X 4S and 2 X 4s. 1 X 4S is obviously better for 3D. 2 X 4S worked well for pattern maneuvers and to handle windy/bumpy conditions.

Yep, it flew great! But it sure sounded funny to me. I was impressed at how light it ended up, I really expected the weight to be more than it is.
