I use these. They were only $29 last time I bought, so they've gone up! Also, 25C may seem a little low, but I get good "punch" in the vertical out of them. But of course, I have nothing else to compare it to.

I got two flights on my slick at sunset. I wish I could have gotten there sooner but that is all I had time for in the fading light. I love the orange scheme because it still pops pretty good in low light. I could have only gotten one flight with my v1 red and white in that lighting.

I was on the phone while I flew so I just mostly harriered around and did a few rollers. I knew flying wasn't getting all my attention so I took it really easy. It was still fun and I got my fix... until tomorrow

What "C" rating do you run? 30? Not sure I'd want the 20's or need to 40's.

EP Buddy has the 4S 3300mah batteries in stock. Slightly larger than you were looking for. They weigh in at 352 grams, a little more than some Turnigy 3000's, and about 2oz (50grams) more than my Gens Ace 4S 2500's. Plus they come with deans discharge plugs.

Wow no kidding... they have really came up think they were $27 when I first bought them. Its a bummer Hobbypartz battery prices have gone up across the board.

Hobby Partz priceing is whacky, I bought some 6s 5300 mah lipos about 2 months agoe regular price $163 on sale for $114, after I recieved them they were on sale for $88. Now the regular price is $243 on sale for $165, although they are out of stock on almost everything.

I'm considering buying one of these planes and I was planning on using Gen's Ace 2500 4S 25C packs.

Is this typically a good pack size for weight and power? How much flight time should be expected?

Do the long flat packs work out better than a short block type pack?
