+1 !

If you are going for something other than black, it'll take some trial and error because of the gray...

Its the red white and blue. I shouldn't admit to this but, here it goes.

I converted it to nitro a while back when I go the nitro itch, with a saito 56. I put a few flights on it. It held up well with just a few areas that I reinforced.

Now I want it back as electric. With motors, esc and batteries being so cheap, (price) there's no reason to stick with nitro anymore. I just started flying my 3dhs epp foamie and I'm having a blast learning 3D. The AJ Fliton will have a .32 motor and will be my beater plane. But, what I really want is the 71 Slick.

The 71 is just about perfect! You will really dig it.

Pics like that are going to make me pull the trigger to soon. I just bought a CC ICE 100 that is going into one of these. I'm also eyeballing a Scorpio motor that I'd like to get a good deal on.

the 51 slick is the perfect size plane for the throw in the back of the car and go. Or fly in the front yard and still give you that bigger plane feel.

The 71 is just amazing and has that presence in the air. Smooth is all I have to say!

Can anyone give me the length of the motor box? I want to know if I can adapt it to my fliton. Thanks.

I'm familiar with the fliton...honestly it would be easier to fab a new one than to adapt one from another plane.

I can fab one, but I was more concerned with the thrust angle. I tried contacting fliton for thrust angle info, but no reply. Is the angle on the slick similar to the fliton?

That's because Fliton ist Kaput.

The angle is approximate...different props require different angles to be "perfect"..and "perfect" is a matter of pilot preference anyway.

Use 2.5 degrees. Close enough, trust me.
