Can someone remind me the order of components when connecting the ball links? I recall it was important to *not* put a washer somewhere.

I put the little washer on the out side so the ball link can't poop off. So I went screw ,then washer, ball link, threw control horn, then screw on nut.

I like the violent stuff!
I tend to over tighten things, so I put the washer between the the horn and the ball. Put it on top of the ball on assembly and the ball wore into the horn and the whole thing was loose. And yes I did use CA on top of the nut. The nut was NOT loose. If the washer is between the ball and horn it spreads the "load" over a larger area and doesn't wear the horn. Just my .02.

Went searching threw the manuals and they state to put the washer on the out side. Its even shown that way in the pics.

EDIT:

Only problem is when I put two on, there are barely any threads left for the nut to grab onto. I like the idea too, but I'm going with one one the outside. Thanks guys.

The group of guys I fly with upgrade the bolt to a 2mm hardened steel for that reason plusyou have the extra security knowing that the bolt is good quality. Lost my first Slick due to one of the supplied bolts snapped on the elevator.

Hi guys, new to the wide fuse world. Came home from the Toledo show with a Orange Slick, and a Hacker 30-12XL. I have 4s 3000 TGY Nano packs for batterys.

The kit came with 4 white stand offs. I didn't see anything in the directions, or build vids about them, but when mounting the cowel it seems to be set deep on the fuse as if I should install the stand offs. What gives??

Also, where does the Laser cut RX plate mount ? I'm using FASST.

Thanks!
