Any stern shots of the Mud River.

There's something about the drive.

can you land on that ?
It could be the bottom of an outboard or a Z-drive ?

The drive is actually two of the old Marx Z-drives without the Pop on Kort nozzles. Yes the seagulls still squak loudly when you put the battery in. Kay Tillman is putting a West Coast Master Builders show together and is in the process of getting a Radio matched up to Mud River so it can be operated, but will not be competing just showing off what can be done with a model boat. Was informed that it was a record turnout with 57 boats entered. Overall it was Good contest, weather was a bit cool but breeze was low, no fires last the last Fall Regatta. Everyone had a good time and it was nicely laid-back so no frantic rushing around to get it done. Sorry about no pic's but left my camera home.

Any chance that builders' names could be attached to the pix? Shame to leave them "anonymous".

Hint: Due to my lousy note taking abilities and even worse memory, I try to take a picture of the model and then any signs or labels with the boat. Saved me many a time!

The Mud River is phenominal. Not overly crowded with equipment and junk, but enough to see it's a hard working pushboat.

For distressing paint on wood, Micro-Mark makes small, stiff-bristled brass brushes just for doing this kind of thing. Check them out: www.micro-mark.com
