Gabby 2m TD RTF excellent shape

Selling my Gabby 2m TD

One year old, bought to fly a second class at Visalia, barely flown otherwise.
One small crack in wingskin at wingtip repaired with a piece of leightweight kevlar, sanded, painted, barley visible (see pics).
  • Fully moulded, 29 ounces, wingloading 8, better then my Supra
  • thermals and climbs really well in light conditions, but also penetrates and can fly fast due to thin Drela foils optimized for the low wingloading
  • Wing shimmed to suit CG. Have adjusted the CG a bit forward for you to make the plane a bit less twitchy
  • Berg 7P receiver on channel 25
  • Futaba digital microservos in fuse for V-tail
  • Hitec MG65 on flaps
  • Dymond D60 on ailerons, custom servo covers with no bulge (thin servos)
  • Switch, charge cable to wingroot, so that you don't have to take off canopy for charching
Just not flying this thing enough, so I figure somebody else can make better use of it.
Will supply a tape-on landing skeg as well as some spare plastic wing-screws.
USD 330 shipped to ConUS or make me an offer.

Can you ship USPS to Ottawa Ontario K1C 2S1 Canada for that price?
If so I will take it.

I am shipping UPS, because I can do that from work and get a good rate.
I figure the rate to Canada must be somewhat higher. I can figure that out for you and just charge you the difference.

Thanks but UPS charges Canadians huge duty fees on delivery. USPS is really the only way to go to avoid these charges.
Too bad.

PLUS usps is the only shipper that is kind to model airplanes. If a seller will only ship a model airplane that i am interested in via United Parcel Smashers I say "NO DEAL"

The high fees are brokerage fees. You can go to UPS pick up the paper work and take this to customs and pay any taxes but no brokerage fees this way.

Your choice.

I had many good experiences with UPS - I also had a bad one, but the plane got fully replaced.
Same with USPS, by the way.

I just had a plane delivered UPS, they wanted $92 for brokerage & tax on a $300 plane. The seller re-stated the value for me so they would charge $42. UPS said my options were to pay the price or they would return to sender, thats it. USPS is the better way to ship to Canada.

You are correct. That is why I tell them NO DEAL. I do not/will not do any business with united parcel smashers. period

That is the most beautiful Gabby I have seen. Mine arrived brand new from NSP with about 30 dents all over the wings. It is nice to seen how they are supposed to look new. Hope the buyer can keep it that way.

When and where did you get that Gabby?
