I wouldn't worry about makin any changes to the plane if you already
have it cut out. Once you get used to the close coupling, I think you'll
prefer it. I do.
I'm going to post a some hardware info in the original post so keep an eye
there.

Thx alot for the info thus far dleep.
I am very interested in this and look forward to the other plans as well. I see what you mean about movingthe elev back. I wouldn't need the bigger more immediate responce & the mushier control would be better for me to start. I like the thought of the smaller plane along with really light wing loading.
If you have plans with the elevator back, I would love to see them. I agree with the aileron servo up top.

I used a 3.8x0.8mm spar on main wing. A GWS 7x3 prop, Mistery 12 speed control,
10 gram HK motor,
https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbycity/s...Outrunner_(10g)
300mla or 360mla 2cell battery,

If you didn't notice it's not realy an Extra, the plane is what I thought are the best parts of,a Juka, a Yak,
a Extra, and a Cap, so this one should be called the Jockstrap, I've redrawn the plans, for a true Extra, and will post them soon. and change the name on these plans accordingly.

Here are my two contributions:
The first is the Blu-Guppy. It is a 96" span sailplane using the KFM3 airfoil. The build thread is here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1043494

The second airplane is my version of Tony 65x55's BBAP1. I changed the fuse to look more like all the other planes in the Blu-Baby series. I extended and reinforced the landing gear, and made a number of structural changes in the fuse.

Hope you like them.

Roger
