Nice looking bird.

Question: Is the canard an airfoil or just flat on both sides?

What a beautiful air plane. Flies great. I think it would make a great AP plane. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! The canard is an airfoil. Maybe Canard Addict will chime in with some details...

Great Video Work

Thank you, Randy, For all your work and expertise in producing the video. The same airfoil, a flat bottom with a Clarke Y type top is used on both wings. When the canard elevator drops down, it creates more lift to raise the nose for a climb. The long distance between the CG and the rudder makes turns easy. Charles

Ryan, They are pencil drawings for my own use in building with no instructions. They can be copied at Fed X but they are pricey on the large copier. Probably can get them for you for 15 to 20 dollars. PM me if interested. The model flies well but due to the up front power, the rear wing can stall and put the fuselage vertical which is dangerous at low altitude. The power will pull it vertical if needed. The Canard Forum page one shows where to find a build log on the sailplane.
