PRO-STAR "A star is born"

This is my very first design under " DC Concepts" my new part time design consulting business.

This is a reconfiguration of L.A Heli's Maxir helicopter components + some custom made components.

This is a 3D flight capable aircraft with 3 variable pitch lift rotors and a conventional rudder tail.

This is just a personal project for now. at least until I build a functional prototype. if everything works as expected then I will produce some parts to make a Pro-Star. The strength of the OEM L.A Heli parts are the deciding factor.

but for now it is just a pretty napkin drawing :-) this is also being done in my spare time, and could possibly be a slow thread to follow

lol yeah well if someone copies it then I can buy it at a lower cost :-)

Im not worried about it. This is just fun mind excersises to get me in the mode for some new helicopter designs for E-copter.

plus it's just a conversion kit using someone eleses main compnonents. now there is a reason no one has seen my Star-EXT project.. that one would be the money maker, but also requires 100% custom parts

so no I have not secured the design of what you see, and at the same time I am not a fool

Well I'd like to keep that a secret. I do use Solidworks 2008 to create the 3D models though.
