Flat finish for Spit...what should I use?

I built a Spit this winter and want to put a flat finish over the Monocote. What's the most durable thing I can use?

I think you want the electric scale forum, not that nobody knows anything about finishing aircraft here, but you'll probably get a better answer there.

Lightly scrub the areas to be painted with steel wool or green scuff pad, and use the acrylic airbrush paints from Parma or Creatix. They come out flat when painted on the outside of stuff.
