Thanks Qrome for the nice comments, help, and video with this bird. I have seen numerous times the tail shake as I approached the stall with my students. Indeed it is semi-frightful and abnormal to see. Despite of the tail buffeting I did enjoy flying the real bird. The visibility was awesome.

Tom,
Nice job on the T-Hawk! I like the way you fly. Smooth on the sticks with scale like flying and landing with roll-out on the mains. Nothing nicer than seeing a beautiful scale project flying in a scale manner. Many flyers these days are stick slammers and ground slammers too.

You can never have too many photos.

We were able to get out and fly with Tom today and check out his Tomahawk. You get this thing up there and you would swear it was real. Nice job Tom. Tina kept the camera snapping.

Great Job...can hardly wait for the kits release
Is the front gear hand made or store bought? Is the rudder coupled to the front wheel?
Thanks

Tom,

Very Awesome! It looks great in the air. I'll be looking forward to the short kit, whenever it becomes available.

Thanks Guys for the nice comments. Yes Jim the Nose wheel is coupled to the rudder. It makes this plane pleasant to steer on the ground. The mold for the cowlings is almost built. Once finished, I will send it to Sparky to mold the cowlings for the kits. As of right now I am thinking this will be offered as a short kit from BMK Designs. The Nose wheel on this bird was scratched built and solder together by my friend Steve. The Number Two Tomahawk will be built at the end of the month. We will also post some pictures of that one.

Here are the pictures of the plug for the cowling. This is what will be sent to Sparky for molding the cowls. Thanks Steve!

Tom,
Steve does great work. We need to get him a t-shirt that has a red circle with a line through it that says "NO ARFs".
