thanks for the reply, tom...i am sure it's a lot of work to get a kit like this off the drawing board (computer screen) and into a box. way over my head, that's for sure. i'll continue to follow along and take a look at the kit once you're ready. sure i'll be able to manage one way or another. this model is so exciting it will be worth the effort on my part.

Rob the short kit supplies all or most of the complex parts per cut, the builder supplies all the readily available standard square balsa stock, its really about the only way to get a kit that is reasonable in price now days, or get a kit period for that matter, Im sure if you need any help or have questions as you build this thread will be a valuable place for answers and suggestions, I for one will be building a kit and will be posting it as I go along. And from the pics Tom has posted of his cad drawings they will help allot too, the short kit will be like the Guillows minus all the sticks.

Thanks for clarify with Rob.

Again, Everyone thanks for being patient!! I will be working on this bird tomorrow and am hoping to have it finished on Monday. It has been a lot of work opening the Cad file. I have made a lot of changes and still are working on a few. Fortunately this week has allowed me to do it.

Glad your getting allot done, this is going to be a sweet project, went and picked up a second table so I can dedicate it solely to this build. Currently building a Piper Tripacer from Sterling, so its a blast from the way back past, everything KINDA die cut, hahahaha, so this will be a refreshing build being laser cut.

Have just found this...I would be very interested in a short kit.
The model seems to fly very well.
I love my large Tomahawk and its one of my favourite models.
I have a motor ,esc ,and battery just for the job.

Mintie, Those are some very nice looking Pipers. You have great taste. I can tell that your Tomahawk is from the Airsail kit. I have the same one, and it builds into a very beautiful model. Yours looks great!!

N827TM- Tom, Do we need to send you a PM if we want a kit. I posted when the thread was revived, I just don't know if you need a PM or not.

I will keep you all informed. I am going to finish the changes on this bird today along with the plans. Hollywood is going to build the next one. We will wait to hear the feed back from Hollywood. There probably wont be any major changes to file as I have been able to resolve most of them in 3D. Hopefully, I can have this bird short kitted within the next couple of months.

I do pretty good, a couple of hours a day, My shop is climate controlled and quite comfy to build in, plus the wife is super supportive of my hobby so getting building time in will be no problem. Will be posting pics as I build also.

Great News!! The Plans are finally done!! I spent most of the day working on them.
Anyway, I will add the list of supplies to the plans, so you will know what is required to put together. Next I need to review and make some changes to the Laser Cad file. This will be simple, just a little more time. All the hard work is completed. Later, I will also post a required list of supplies. Here is a picture of the plan.
