Well I am assuming they will make a twin EDF and figure out what motors will work best for it of course.

The other EDF jets seem to be well thought out. from reviews, I don't own an EDF jet yet. Mainly cause there isn't a simple F4E to own. All the ones I have seen are rather complex bit kits with Pushers.

You Rock!!!!!!!

Honestly I think an F4E model on the scale of the F-15 would sell really well.
It's one of peoples favorite planes.

I especially like how you chose "Yes no price is too high" lol!

I am thinking to make small JETs for easy be carried.

Yet, GWS make too little profit, need you to buy many of GWS JETs to be in your trunk!

I assumed if GWS made a Phantom, that it would be the same size as the F-15 (dual EDF64), or at least dual edf55, however, I would be fine with a dual edf50 as long as the performance is good. Now that I think about it, the smaller fans would probably be easier. with dual edf64s, the plane would be huge!! I also think a single fan would look weird on this plane. I'm pretty sure that I would not be able to qualify for early bird, but if I found out that GWS was making a phantom, I would send in an application anyway. Even if not EB, I would buy it. Can I put my order in now?!!!! I wouldn't even have to think about it. I can't think of any company that makes a dual edf foamy Phantom. I think if GWS made one, it would be a HUGE SELLER Mr. Lin, you have one guaranteed sale here! Did I mention that I would like to place my order now?

I think the size of GWS planes are starting to get just a tad on the big side. I would like to see a return to smaller parkflier types like the A-10.

Dual edf 64's would be huge and need a big battery - as some of the F-15 fliers are finding. Don't get me wrong - I love my F-15, but it's too big to fly at the park. I think 55's are perfect as it wouldn't be any bigger than a 50 size one yet you have nice cheap power systems with the brushless inrunner series motors.

And I'm not convinced that spinning those 50's with that much power, without a rotor redesign, is a bright idea.

The edf 55 design is sound, proven, and well liked by modelers. A return to the smaller parkflier type models would be welcomed.

Yeah, dual EDF55s would probably be ideal.

Go with the edf55 x 2. It may be also possible to make it with a separate insert so you could run 1 edf 68-74 fan. Forget about edf50's unless GWS has some new super motors.

Here is a picture of a stand off scale F4 that I made several years back for two GWS55's. Weight was around 28-30 ounces using 3s 2100 pack.

It couldn't really be any smaller than the A-4 right??? That plane looks pretty small!

Even at the smaller size, as long as it was a solid scale rendering of the actual plane I would buy one or two.
I'd want one with the Navy Jolly Roger scheme and one with the cammo scheme.

And stalker, that plane does look great.
Did you use any plans or just eye ball it???
If you made plans lets talk pricing lol!

Thanks guys,
F4 was scratched and is long gone now. Size was about the same as the A4.

Would be easy to design and mold. Hope GWS makes one but not for edf50's. If they did do one for 50's you could put Microfans in.

Cheers--Stacker

I agree, at least EDF55 is tougher than EDF50. And they have to be installed into fuselage, EDF55's work better, I'd believe.
