Valley of fire is a great place to shoot as well!

Whats your setup (airframe/optics)?

I used Slinger flying wing and Lumix LS70

Here is yesterday's pic from Valley of Fire
At 8am it was empty and I even made movies
by noon it was almost crowded! I had to hide my plane.

Great Video Peter, some seriously rugged terrain to fly around it with even less
areas to land in. How did you get it in, noticing the landing absent from the
video ? Or is this where the Samsung bit the dust ?

Hi Jim, yes Samsung S730 ended its days in the park
I just bought open item Lumix TZ7S from best buy for $70 (6x zoom!)it makes 850x480 movies so now I'm motivated to find more exotic places to make hi-res aerial videos.

I hear ya, I have been nervous about trying out my new Kodak V1253 720P
camera ever since I crashed my Easy Star into the ice and destroyed my
Aiptek A-HD. Was able to repair the Easy Star but the Aiptek was busted up
beyond repair.

Now I have new plane for AP built by Power but have been so busy with work
and nervous about flying it any kind of wind. Guess I need to take my Easy out
when I get time to shake out the bugs and try and relax more while flying.

Nice Work!

Here is a shot back from '05

Makes you wonder how many bodies are buried around there with Vegas around the corner :-)
