There's enough pilots that frequent Hodges to get it through several states I'm sure.

Fred, you bet. All the logistics will be worked out before the start of her journey. And I wouldn't leave you hanging and make you or anyone drive that far. We'll find some other folks nearby. My goal is 50 mile hops. That's the goal, but we'll see how it works out.

This should be fun!

Frank

Looks like you've got a MO pilot.

Think you need to get commitments for fast turn-around times.
Having to wait a week for the weather to clear will put a big dent in your time-line.

My turn-around time for the Tiger Moth was under 23 hours.
That's receiving the plane, fly it, and ship it back out.

Gotcha Jeff, Thanks!

Larry, I'll put you down if you want in. Doesn't have to be just one pilot per state.

Count me in for AZ. I'm sure RAFster might like to do it as well (he's in Tucson).

I wish I lived near 4 corners. It could be flown over 4 states in a single flight!

I will take the NY slot. I hope the NJ or CT flyers are not on the other side of the state.

Would love to participate, but think I will have to pass.
I just reread the part about not shipping.
Don't think I could get away as fast as needed.

Have fun guys

I gotcha Pat, thanks! You're the first in AZ to get on board.

No worries Larry, it's totally up to you. If you want in, that's cool, if not that's OK also, but we'd be glad to have you.

If you are aiming for 50 mile drives... you'll ned a LOT more than 1 pilot per state...

appx 4000 mi from NY, NY to SF, CA... Appx 3000 mi from New, Orleans LA to Minneapolis, MN. An average state is more than 200 X 200 mi...
