I have my fingers crossed that you won't need them, but we'll just have to see.

I got five bucks that says this takes two years min.

Oh, and New Yorkers only drive like New Yorkers when in New York. They frequently drive in the left lane of the NJ Turnpike at 45mph.

Speaking of hobby shops I went to my LHS yesterday. Roger, the owner, was there and he said he saw the article in our local newspaper about the WAA-08 project and that I had mentioned his store in the article. He also told me that the stuff I wanted to buy was "on him" in an effort to support the project. Thank you Roger! I am very fortunate to have such a great LHS.

"Canned" news story?

Hey Frank -

Without going back through 101 pages of this thread, can you point me to a link to a "cannned" news story that I can propose to our local paper? If not, I'll make contact with them and wing it, so to speak, but ensure that the project gets good press.

Thanks!

Might as well make that an all-participants mailing... or have the "press release" posted to the WAA website.

As stated just above, it is attached to week 6, but I have put it on the website also for those who want to see it there.

We had our first system malfunction. The CC Pixie 20P let out the magic smoke for Dave B (pilot #5). Dave will be going by his LHS tomorrow for replacement parts.
