I have been working with APC and they will be offering reverse rotation props in the 12x8E sizes and possibly the 13x6.5E sizes.

You are still over powering everything

Not true. More power is good. It's there if you 'need' it but most flying is half to 3/4 throttle on most E-Flite products depending on your setup. If you have ever flown something that is under-powered or marginally powered you will know what I mean.

Twin 25e motors on a 60" span sound heavy enough for me. 32e motors sounds heavier but faster to me. 4S batts with the 32e motors on 60" span sounds like a missile to me. IMHO. I kid about the over powering. People can fly the way they want

Hay John,
When can the "Fast Forward" shops expect to see this plane delivered? I called mine and reserved the first one in.

Not sure if anyone noticed this or if anyone from Horizon can answer, but why does the setup call for 60A ESC's when the motor is rated for 32A continuous and 44A max burst?

It seems like the ESC should be a 30A, not a 60A, unless I am mixed up.

30 would be cutting it much too close.

Hey Octane-link,

We recommend the 60 Amp becasue we have found that some tend to try different motors over time. Where as the Power 25 would work great with out 40 Amp ESC, our Power 32 will not. You need the 60 Amp for the 32. The difference in price is minimal ($10 difference between the 40 and 60 Amp).

I would not use a 30 Amp ESC with our Power 25, it won't last.

As for Fast Forward deliveries for the Deuces Wild, I would venture to guess sometime in July at the moment. We showed this one a bit early to make Toledo and to have a couple flying at SEFF this year. I hope you understand and don't shoot me for having you wait a bit longer on this one.

Thanks John.

This may not be the place to ask, but why is a speed controller rated higher than the motor?

You have to forgive me, I am a glow/gas guy trying to learn about electrics.
