Hi Mike,

I use a APC SloFlyer prop 9x6 or 8x6 fixed and a APC folder 11x8. Have tried over 20 props both folding and not and those are my favorites. Use same gearbox as you with 2.5 to 1 gearing. On 1600 batt I consistantly get 20 min flights.
Usually buy from my LHS or Hobby Lobby. I like JKAeroTech too, but recently ordered more motor mounts at $3.50 each and $7.00 shipping!! Wow, ever heard of USPS?? Had to order a bunch to make it cost effective.
Good luck,
Pete

Mike,

I also use the fixed APC Slo Flyer propeller, but I use the 10x7 size with a 3.3 gear ratio on an Astro 010 and Radio Shack 1600's. I have flown it with this setup for 29+ minutes before.

Need final suggestions on best prop for geared T-52

I have been following several threads here and have done a search. It would seem that 9X4 to 9X6 folding prop is best. What are the final thoughts? Any best brands? APC electric props? I also have to choose a gear ration 2:1 or 2.5:1 I will be running a Permax 480 with the metal gear box the JKAEROTECH was clearing out. Using the Radio Shack 1600 battery. Sorry for all of the question marks, batteries and props are hard to figure out, but what fun trying.

Oh yeah, What about sources for props at the best prices and best shipping charges? LOve Kirk but $2 to $5 shipping for a prop is kinda tough on the wallet.
