When all is said and done, that is not a bad price for a glider of that size with a turbine! Too bad I'm mostly sane. (I think)

At 2,000 Euros for an 8 meter Paritech + turbine, that's a steal. The killer is shipping expense.

When did you say you were going to europe?

Pete

Even with shipping it's probably a steal. Years ago a lot of guys I knew were buying 17 foot sailboats with 24 foot masts and shipping them second day air as one of the better and not very expensive ways of getting their boats.

I wonder what that would cost from europe?

Late July for the Interlaken Aerotow. And no, shipping an 8 meter ship as checked luggage doesn't quite sit well with the airlines! I suppose we could cut the 4 meter panels in half. Hmmmmm....

Where to buy new..

Does anyone know where I can buy this kit new? I have a friend (of ample means) who I regularly build various models for. I showed him that link to the german website and he wants one of these.
Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide.

That sounds a lot more realistic and believable. I wanted a V tail anyway!
