Here are a few pics of my Guillows B-17 I converted in 2004. It uses IPS motors and 5x4.3 props.
It flew ok at 20oz but could use a bit more pitch speed.
I have since made a set of vintage1 three blade props for it. The higher pitch props required a gear ratio change. I bought the gears and it's waiting for it's turn in the maintenance hangar.

Not enlarged. Wingspan increased 1" per side and 3/8" chord increase. Airfoil thickness increased 1/16".
Weighs around 6 oz.

This thing flies great. I wish someone else would give a try to making an edf at the original kit size!

10 gram motor, 6 amp SC and elevons mixed with a whale tail. Fly's nicely but is getting a slightly larger motor, 14 grams and 12 amp SC for better climb out.

A unique feature is using the AR6400BL rudder servo to drive both the ailerons and rudder from the single servo. Mixing with the trans allows control from the aileron stick. So far I'm optimistic about how it's going.
